Europe’s history is not without stain. It has witnessed extraordinary achievements and unspeakable horrors. Yet the values that have shaped the West like ordered liberty, the rule of law, human dignity, representative government, and the pursuit of truth first took root in the civilizations of ancient Greece and Rome before maturing across the nations of Europe and, ultimately, influencing much of the world.
Today, Europe is in crisis.
Economic growth has stalled. Birth rates have fallen well below replacement levels. Violent crime and attacks against women have increased in many countries. Islamist terrorism has become recurring features of Europe’s security landscape. Political institutions struggle to command public confidence, while many of the continent’s most important debates are clouded by ideological conformity rather than open inquiry.
If these trends continue unchecked, Europe’s decline may become impossible to reverse.
Meeting this moment requires more than slogans or partisan talking points. It requires intellectual honesty, historical perspective, and the willingness to confront uncomfortable facts. Serious problems cannot be solved if they cannot first be discussed openly.
That is why I created Europe Uncensored.
This publication exists for readers who value truth, clarity, and transparency over political orthodoxy. The mainstream media filters Europe’s most important stories through predetermined narratives that obscure rather than illuminate the challenges facing our civilization. Europe Uncensored seeks to do the opposite.

Every article is grounded in firsthand experience. For nearly two decades, I have worked in European politics at both the national and EU levels. I have served in local government, worked as a senior advisor in the European Parliament, and now represent Sweden as a Member of the European Parliament, where I serve as Vice Chairman of the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) Group. Europe Uncensored helps readers understand not only what is happening in Europe, but why.
